Maria Bailey (Née Kravchuk

Maria Bailey (née Kravchuk) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple financial institutions. Maria is currently the Head of Regulatory Reporting at C. Hoare & Co., a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Regulatory Reporting at Aldermore Bank from January 2019 to March 2022.

Maria also worked as a Business Process Manager at Mashed ltd from April 2015 to December 2018. Before that, they held various roles at Mizuho, including Head of Regulatory Liquidity Reporting from September 2009 to April 2017 and New Product Specialist and Regulatory Capital SME from November 2008 to September 2009.

Earlier in their career, Maria worked at Nomura as the Regulatory Capital Reporting from July 2003 to November 2008 and Asset Investment Group Product Controller from July 2002 to July 2003. Maria also served as a Fixed Income Product Controller at Nomura from July 2000 to July 2001.

Maria Bailey (née Kravchuk) has received education from multiple institutions throughout their academic career. Maria attended Karaganda Secondary School from 1986 to 1996, where they completed their secondary education. In 1997, Maria enrolled in Newcastle College for an Access Course, which they completed in 1998. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance (Hons) at Loughborough University, graduating in 2002. Additionally, Maria was also involved with The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and obtained the ACMA & CGMA designation by the year 2006.
