Boris Katz

Boris Katz has extensive work experience in the field of software development and management. Boris started their career in 1999 at Tikal Software, where they worked as a Full Stack Engineer and was responsible for implementing an SMS sending system based on SOA services. Boris also contributed to server and client-side coding, performed quality control, and developed database tables and stored procedures. Katz then joined Pelephone in 1999 as a Full-stack Developer, where they worked until 2012. During their time at Pelephone, they progressed to the position of Full stack team leader and led a team of developers. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects, designing and developing software solutions, and ensuring pre-release quality control. In 2012, Katz joined Mer Group, where they held the position of R&D Lead and Architect. Boris led a team of 18 individuals and managed various aspects of project development, including team management, defining product requirements, creating architectural specifications, integrating innovative technologies, and working with outsourcing companies. Boris was also involved in pre-sales processes, project proposals, and providing demonstrations to clients. Throughout their career, Katz has gained expertise in various technologies and frameworks, such as .NET, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, and HTML.

Boris Katz completed their Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Political Science from Jerusalem University in 1995. Prior to that, they attended Jerusalem College of Engineering from 1990 to 1991.
