Chad Carlton has extensive experience in various roles within communications and executive leadership. Chad began their career as a government reporter at the Lexington Herald-Leader in 1989 and later transitioned to a Senior Account Manager at Doe Anderson in 1999. In 2003, they joined the Louisville Metro Government as the Communications Director, where they served until 2010. From 2011, Chad assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at C2 Strategic Communications. Their most recent position was as a Member at Vistage Worldwide, Inc. where they focused on elevating their company and community.
Chad Carlton began their education at Western Kentucky University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Government from 1983 to 1987. Chad later enrolled at the University of Illinois Springfield, graduating with a Master of Arts degree in Public Affairs Reporting in 1988. In 1996, Chad returned to academia at the University of Kentucky, studying Political Science until 1998. The degree obtained during this period is unspecified.
