Ajay is founder and managing general partner of Mithril, a global technology investment firm based in San Francisco that focuses on growth-stage investments. Drawing on his successful experience investing in tech-enabled growth, as well as insights from technology, macro, and finance, Ajay provides strategic advice and builds cross-industry partnerships through board-level involvement in Mithril’s portfolio companies. Before forming Mithril, Ajay held leadership positions at Clarium Capital Management and Braxton Associates, a unit of Deloitte. Ajay is frequently invited to speak publicly on technology investment in such public fora as Bloomberg, CNBC, the Financial Times, and The Wall Street Journal; has been a guest lecturer on macro investing at Yale University; and has served as a participant in the Hoover Institution’s Working Group on Global Markets and as one of the Churchill Club’s Tech Trend experts. Ajay serves on the external advisory board of the University of Michigan’s Risk Science Center and on the board of the Thiel Foundation. Ajay was educated at Yale University.
