Michael Gibbons

Michael Gibbons is an experienced leader in product management and organizational development, currently serving as Vice President of Product at ChopValue since March 2021. Michael has contributed to the company's vision of transforming waste into resources through sustainable practices. In addition to this role, Michael serves as Executive in Residence at Foresight Canada, providing mentorship to cleantech innovators, and acts as an investor and advisor to multiple organizations, including CheckingIn and ecologyst. Michael has a strong background in sales and product management from previous positions at FLIR Systems and Point Grey Research, where significant achievements included increasing sales and successfully integrating company processes. Michael holds a Commerce degree from The University of British Columbia and additional qualifications in computer systems technology and business coaching.
