Vishal Rungta

Vishal Rungta has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company from August 2008 to July 2010, where they engaged in various advisory services such as M&A, Capital Markets, and Restructuring. Vishal then joined TPG Growth as a Private Equity Associate from August 2010 to July 2012, executing investments in mid-capitalization companies globally and assisting in portfolio management.

In September 2012, Vishal joined Google as a Business Operation and Strategy Associate, where they worked until November 2013. Following this, they became a Founding Partner at PenLife Media from October 2012 to October 2014.

From September 2011 to December 2014, Vishal served as the Social Investment Council Member and Former Bay Area Chair at Echoing Green, providing start-up funding and support services to social entrepreneurs around the world.

In April 2014, Vishal took on the role of Partner & Chief Operating Officer at PalmStar Media until December 2015.

Vishal also co-founded and served as a Board Member at Nickel City Pictures from January 2016 and as a Co-Founder, President, and Board Member at C3 Industries starting from March 2016.

Additionally, Vishal has been a Board Member at Handstand Innovations since January 2012. Handstand is a retail innovations company that provides shopper marketing consulting and custom-printed antimicrobial checkstand belt covers.

Most recently, Vishal became a member of YPO in July 2023.

Vishal Rungta pursued their education at the University of Michigan for their undergraduate degree. From 2004 to 2006, they studied Biopsychology and obtained a BBA degree. Later, they attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance & Accounting, from 2006 to 2008.
