Mark Hofert

Mark Hofert is a seasoned health and safety professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Health and Safety Business Partner at C3, Mark supports health and safety initiatives for the Logistics division, impacting 800 FTE across multiple ports. Previously, as Environment, Health and Safety Manager for ADM in ANZ, Mark developed a comprehensive EHS strategy aligning local needs with global standards. Mark's career also includes a significant tenure as Health & Safety Manager at SIG Combibloc, where a health and safety strategy was crafted post-separation from Carter Holt Harvey. As Director of The Human Edge Limited, Mark provided consulting services to diverse clients. Earlier experience includes positions at Pedersen Group NZ and EastPack Limited, where Mark managed health and safety and HR functions, respectively. Mark's foundational career at Norske Skog encompassed roles from Project Manager to Human Resources Advisor, contributing to significant operational improvements and cost reductions. Mark holds a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from Southern Institute of Technology and a degree in Human Resources from Monash University.
