Arthur Cheng

Arthur Cheng has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Arthur started their career at San Jose State University, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and later as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. At the university, they conducted experiments involving nanoelectromechanical molecular layers and analyzed the interactions of biomolecules with metal surfaces. Arthur also worked on developing methods to detect nanoparticles and quantum dots.

After their time at the university, Arthur joined NASA Ames Research Center as a Researcher. Here, they focused on synthesizing carbon-based materials, metal oxides, and silver nanowires for various applications such as thin film electrodes, supercapacitors, and water purification processes. Arthur was responsible for material characterization using techniques like Raman spectroscopy, Four-point probe, AFM, SEM, BET, and XPS.

Arthur also gained experience as an Intern at NASA Ames Research Center, where they further enhanced their research skills. Additionally, they worked as an R&D Lab Chemist Intern at TenCate Advanced Composites.

Recently, Arthur worked at C3Nano, Inc. where they held the role of R&D Engineer II/Lab and Testing Manager. Prior to this, they worked as an R&D Engineer II. Their responsibilities included conducting research and development activities related to the company's projects.
