Christina Jordan Murphy has a diverse work experience in communications and policy roles. Christina started their career as a Program Assistant at The Century Foundation in 1998 and then served as a Legislative Aide for Senator Richard Bryan in the United States Senate from 1999 to 2000. Christina later worked as a Communications Coordinator for Tom Birmingham for Governor in 2001 and as a Deputy Press Secretary for Senator Cheryl Jacques in the Massachusetts State Senate from 2002 to 2003. In 2003, they joined Project Bread as a Senior Manager of Community Initiatives. Christina then worked at the National Center on Family Homelessness as the Director of Policy and Communications from 2008 to 2012. From 2013 to 2015, they were involved in the Communication: Health & Social Development Program and National Center on Family Homelessness at the American Institutes for Research. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications at C4 Innovations since 2015.
Christina Jordan Murphy completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development and Sociology from Tufts University in 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Management degree with a specialization in Child, Youth, and Family Policy at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University from 2001 to 2002.
