Associate Director Of Human Genomics at C4X Discovery

Neil Humphryes-Kirilov has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics, genomics, and clinical trials. Neil currently holds the position of Associate Director of Human Genomics at C4X Discovery Ltd since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Bioinformatician at the same company from May 2022 to January 2023, and as a Senior Bioinformatician from January 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining C4X Discovery Ltd, Neil worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Bioinformatician (Discovery Neuroscience) from October 2017 to January 2020. Additionally, Neil worked as a PostDoctoral Research Scientist at New York University from August 2013 to December 2014, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sussex from April 2011 to July 2013. During these positions, they furthered their skills in scientific writing, data presentation, and mentoring Ph.D. students.

Neil's early career involved working at Novartis as a Clinical Trial Administrator/Document Specialist from March 2010 to April 2011. Here, they gained insight into clinical trial setup and management, protocol development, and regulatory requirements.

Lastly, Neil has a Ph.D. from Cardiff University, where they conducted research as a Ph.D. Student from an unspecified start date to 2009.

Neil Humphryes-Kirilov completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry and Genetics at the University of Nottingham from 2003 to 2006. Neil then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cancer genomics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 2006 and 2010.
