Nick Ray

Nick Ray's work experience begins in 1991 at Rhone-Poulenc Agriculture Ltd, where they served as a Leading Chemist for nine years. In 2000, they joined Celltech R&D Ltd as a Senior Medicinal Chemist before transitioning to Argenta Discovery in 2003. At Argenta Discovery, Nick held various roles including Principal Project Leader, Associate Director of Chemistry, Director of Chemistry, and Senior Director of Chemistry. In 2016, they joined C4X Discovery Ltd as the VP of Medicinal Chemistry & Candidate Delivery. Nick has since been promoted to the position of Senior VP, Drug Discovery and currently holds the role of Chief Scientific Officer at C4X Discovery Ltd.

Nick Ray attended the University of Birmingham from 1983 to 1989, where they obtained a BSc and PhD in Chemistry. After completing their doctoral studies, they pursued a postdoctoral position at Dartmouth College from 1989 to 1991, focusing on Organic Chemistry under the supervision of Prof T.A. Spencer.
