Chris Opperman

Chris Opperman serves as the Operating Partner for Africa and the Middle East at C5 Capital since February 2023, focusing on strategic initiatives and investor relations in the region. Prior to this role, Chris was a Strategic Adviser at ITC Secure, enhancing investor relations and spearheading significant initiatives such as the Disinformation Conference in Cape Town. Chris also has experience as an Associate at Baird's CMC, Owner of Opperman Konsult, Country Manager for Hamra Oil Holdings, and Director of Business Development at Swala Energy, demonstrating a strong background in consultancy and business development across various sectors, particularly in oil, gas, and strategic partnerships. Chris holds multiple degrees in Law from the University of Pretoria.
