Christian Sørbye Friis

Christian Sørbye Friis has over 30 years of experience in leadership and public administration. Currently serving as CEO and Administrerende direktør at CA - Karrierepartner og a-kasse since June 2007, Christian oversees an Unemployment Insurance Fund with over 65,000 members. Prior to this role, Christian held the position of Forsikringschef at Magistrenes Arbejdsløshedskasse from June 2002 to May 2007, focusing on insurance management within a semi-private unemployment insurance company. From 1990 to 2002, Christian worked as an Ass. Professor at Roskilde University, specializing in research and teaching related to e-government issues. Christian holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Roskilde University and completed Studentereksamen with a focus on Mathematics and Social Science at Rysensteen Gymnasium.
