Gary Sun

Gary Sun is a seasoned investment professional with over 18 years of experience in the finance industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Real Assets & Private Investment Operations at CPP Investments since March 2011, Gary has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Managing Director of Investment Structure Management and Director of Investment Structure Management. Prior to joining CPP Investments, Gary gained valuable experience at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where roles included Investment Analyst in the Teachers’ Private Capital - Venture Capital Investments division and Senior Investment Services Specialist in Investment Finance. Gary began a career at Ontario Teachers' in 2004 as a Portfolio Administrator focused on Fixed Income and Derivatives. Gary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of Toronto, graduating with distinctions.
