Ira Shiner

Ira Shiner has a strong background in the financial industry. Ira began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at CIBC World Markets in 2008. In 2009, they moved on to become an Investment Analyst at Kensington Capital Partners Limited. Ira then joined Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in 2011, first as a Senior Investment Analyst and later as an Associate in Teachers' Private Capital. In 2015, Shiner joined CPP Investment Board as a Principal in the Direct Private Equity division.

Ira Shiner has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from the Schulich School of Business - York University. Ira has also obtained a CFA designation from the CFA Institute.
