Mike Leader

Mike Leader has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Mike is currently the Managing Director, Head of Investment Operations on the Global Leadership Team at CPP Investments. In this role, they oversee and manages overall risk related to investment operations and finds process-enhancement solutions. Prior to this, Mike worked as an Engagement Lead at Sionic and as a Podcast Host for Leader Worthy: Lessons to Lead By. Mike also took a break from work in 2019 to re-energize and reflect. Earlier in their career, Mike held several leadership positions at TD Securities, including Managing Director & Global Head of Fixed Income Operations, Managing Director & Head of Operations for the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions, and Director & Head of Operations for Europe and Asia Pacific. Mike has also worked at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant and at Vexas as the Director of Business Development. Mike began their career as a Senior Analyst of Risk Advisory at BMO Financial Group.

Mike Leader received their B.Sc.H. in Statistics & Business from Queen's University from 1992 to 1996. Mike then went on to pursue an MBA in Strategic Leadership at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 1999 to 2001.
