Paras Vira

Paras Vira has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Paras is currently serving as the Managing Director and a member of the Global Leadership Team at CPP Investments | Investissements RPC since June 2021. In this role, they lead the Americas Leveraged Finance business within Capital Solutions, specializing in various credit strategies such as direct lending, opportunistic credit, and special situations, with a particular focus on the software and tech-enabled services sectors. Prior to this, Paras worked at Oaktree Capital Management as a Senior Vice President from January 2006 to June 2014. Before joining Oaktree, they began their career at UBS Investment Bank as an Analyst from July 2004 to December 2005.

Paras Vira graduated from Cornell University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering. Later, in 2004, they completed a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Columbia University.
