Simin Wang

Simin Wang, FRM, currently serves as a Senior Analyst in Investment Risk at CPP Investments since October 2022. Prior to this role, Simin worked at Manulife as a Senior Analyst in PFE Analytics from July 2019 to October 2022. Experience also includes a position as a Quantitative Intern in Market Risk Model Development at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, a Financial Analyst role in Corporate Services at Infrastructure Canada, and a Junior Underwriter position at CNA Insurance. Simin began the professional journey as a Junior Analyst focused on Supply Chain Optimization at Royal Canadian Mint. Academically, Simin holds an Honours BSc in Financial Mathematics and Economics from the University of Ottawa and a Master's degree in Financial Risk Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
