Olalekan ISMAIL

Olalekan ISMAIL has a diverse background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and industries. Olalekan is currently working at Caantin as a Lead Software Engineer since March 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing software development projects.

Prior to this, Olalekan worked at Pangaea as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2021 to June 2022. Here, they revamped the internal sales management application and implemented an A/B experiment framework, resulting in improved user experience and data-driven decision-making.

Before Pangaea, Olalekan served as the Head of Technology at Intelligent Innovations Co. from October 2020 to October 2021. In this leadership role, they led a team in developing software solutions for clients and implemented a continuous integration and deployment pipeline.

From December 2018 to October 2020, Olalekan was a Co-founder and Senior Lead Software Engineer at Jhaki Technologies Limited. Olalekan led a team in developing an e-haulage logistic app and built an enterprise solution for managing the logistic ecosystem.

Prior to Jhaki Technologies, Olalekan worked at ConnectRail Services Limited as a Lead Software Engineer from December 2016 to December 2018. In this role, they managed the engineering unit and developed innovative solutions for container visibility and logistics management.

Olalekan's career started at Swiss Biostadt Limited, where they worked as a Software Engineer from December 2014 to December 2016. Olalekan was involved in software analysis, training, and mentoring, and developed an inventory management application.

Throughout their career, Olalekan has demonstrated expertise in backend and system optimization, project management, and leading teams. Olalekan'scontributions have resulted in improvements in performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Olalekan ISMAIL completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, which they attended from 2012 to 2018. In January 2018, they obtained the Google Africa Scholarship ALC 3.0 Certification from Andela. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in MSC BIG DATA ANALYTICS from Sheffield Hallam University, which they started in 2022 and is expected to finish in 2023.
