Gustavo Adolfo Acosta Montiel is an experienced social innovator and educator with a strong background in civic engagement and entrepreneurship. Since 2012, Gustavo has served as the Founder and Coordinator of Zapopan Lab, advocating for citizen science and digital inclusion, while also founding Incuba Social, a center for social design and innovation. Additionally, Gustavo has held various adjunct faculty positions across multiple universities, teaching subjects such as gamification and social innovation. Notable past roles include Chief Innovation Officer for Ayuntamiento de Zapopan and Co-Founder of Social Valley Mx, a community for social innovators. Gustavo holds a B.A. in Communication Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Universidad de Guadalajara.
