Neil MacIntosh

Neil MacIntosh has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Neil'smost recent role is as a Trustee at Vale House Specialist Dementia Care Home since November 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of HR Director at CABI, an international development, publishing, and scientific research organization from January 2007.

Neil also served as a Non-Executive Director (Member of Governing Board) at Kingston University - Company from January 2011 to July 2017.

Before that, they were the Head of HR Strategy & Policy at the Department of the Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) from May 2004 to January 2007. Neil'srole at DEFRA involved managing a significant reduction in the division's headcount.

Additionally, Neil MacIntosh served as the Group Human Resources Director at Dairy Crest, a top 10 UK food company, from March 2001 to May 2003. Prior to that, they were the Head of HR at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from April 1999 to February 2001.

Neil'searlier roles include Director of Personnel at Napier University, Edinburgh (January 1996 to April 1999), Regional Personnel Manager at Woolworths (August 1992 to January 1996), and Personnel Manager at Scottish & Newcastle (September 1986 to August 1992).

Neil MacIntosh earned their MA (First-Class Honours) in History from the University of Glasgow from 1981 to 1985. Neil then pursued an MSc in Industrial Relations at the University of Strathclyde from 1985 to 1986.
