William Sims-Roush has a diverse work experience background with roles spanning various industries. William started their career in 2011 as a Camera Operator and Media/Promotions Assistant for the Lake County Captains, a Single-A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. Here, they created graphics for the video board, worked in the press box running in-game Line Score, Matrix Board, Video Board, and Music, and created music playlists for pre-game and post-game.

From 2013 to 2014, William worked as an Assistant to the Promotions Manager for the Lake County Captains, where they performed tasks such as writing game-day scripts, booking National Anthem performers, operating matrix boards and scoreboards, executing sponsorships, designing graphics for in-game promotions, and producing website graphics.

In 2014, they served as the Director of Ballpark Entertainment for the Bowling Green Hot Rods.

In 2015, William was a Photographer/Sales employee at Portrait Innovations and later became the Box Office Manager at MGM Northfield Park in 2018. William then worked as an Inbound Sales Representative for Time Warner Cable in 2016.

Starting from 2020, William worked as a Software Development Associate at PNC, specializing in Java. Prior to that, they participated in a Java Development Bootcamp at Technical Experience in 2020.

Their most recent position is as a Web Developer at Cabinets To Go, which they started in 2023.

William Sims-Roush's education history begins with their time at Tallmadge High School, where they completed their secondary education in 2007. William then pursued a field of study in media relations/advertising at Kent State University at Stark from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, William attended the Ohio Media School to further specialize in television broadcasting and production techniques. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Akron from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Mass Communication, focusing on media production. Most recently, in 2020, William attended Tech Elevator for a Java Coding Bootcamp.
