Nikita Maharaj

Nikita Maharaj has extensive work experience in finance and auditing roles. They currently hold the position of Director of Finance at Liberty Latin America since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Cable & Wireless Communications as the Head of Finance - Trinidad, starting in October 2019. Additionally, they held the role of Senior Accountant at Cable & Wireless Communications from February 2017 to October 2019. Other notable positions include Senior Consultant at EY from February 2016 to February 2017, Senior Internal Auditor at ArcelorMittal from January 2015 to January 2016, and Internal Auditor at Angostura Limited from July 2013 to December 2014. Nikita began their career as a Financial Analyst at TSTT from May 2011 to June 2013 and worked as an Auditor at Ernst & Young from August 2007 to May 2011.

Nikita Maharaj pursued their education starting in 2004 at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Nikita completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies, Accounting, and Economics in 2007. In 2007, they then enrolled in the Association of Chartered Accountants and obtained the ACCA qualification by 2010. Later, in 2012, Nikita attended the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business where they earned a Master of International Finance degree in 2013, specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
