Barry Ferris

Barry Ferris is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product strategy and management across various high-tech organizations. Currently serving as a Sr. Product Strategist at CableLabs since August 2016, Barry focuses on identifying market opportunities and developing long-term product strategies while driving ecosystem engagement in emerging technologies. Prior roles include Senior Product Portfolio Manager at Plantronics, where Barry successfully managed the refresh of gaming products, and Product Line Management at HP Gaming/Voodoo PC, which included delivering award-winning gaming systems. Barry has also held key positions at Triveni Digital, Alcatel, Newbridge Networks, Cisco, Xerox, Apple, and Talaris Systems, demonstrating a consistent ability to align strategic direction with market needs and leading innovative product developments. Barry holds a BSc in Computer Science and Math from The University of British Columbia and Western University.
