Darshak Thakore

Darshak Thakore is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Principal Architect at CableLabs since October 2006, with previous roles including Lead Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer. Thakore specializes in designing architecture and specifications for next-generation video delivery based on UPnP/DLNA Home Networking standards and has also contributed to DOCSIS certification programs. Prior to CableLabs, Thakore worked as a System Administrator at Michigan State University, managing Windows Servers and Active Directory, and as a Junior Engineer at Birla Cellulosic, assisting in the commissioning and maintenance of instrumentation systems. Thakore holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat University.
