Nicolas Metts

Nicolas Metts is an experienced data scientist and software engineer with a robust background in data analytics and software development. Since May 2011, Nicolas has been with CableLabs, holding positions ranging from Software Engineer to Data Scientist/Lead Software Engineer, focusing on predictive analytics and Big Data projects. Currently, Nicolas serves as Head of Data Science at Gridmetrics, Inc., where responsibility includes the architecture and maintenance of the Power Event Notification System using various Google Cloud Platform tools. Nicolas's early career included a Student Data Management Assistant role at NCAR Earth Observing Laboratory and specialized positions at Drury University and Missouri State University. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and multiple degrees from Drury University and Missouri State University.
