Laila Ronkainen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Laila began their career in 1988 as a Controller/Financial Manager for Solna stad, where they were responsible for budgeting and forecasting for schools and kindergartens. Laila also developed budget models and a chart of accounts during their time there.

In 2000, Laila moved on to Mondelēz International as an Accounting Analyst, where they worked as a senior accountant for producing companies Gevalia and Marabou. Laila handled reporting in Hyperion and tax reporting for US Gaap.

Following this, Laila joined Saint-Gobain Abrasives in 2001 as a Controller. Laila performed budgeting, analysis, and reporting for the Swedish affiliate and was in charge of external reporting, including the annual report.

In 2009, Laila became the Chief Accountant/Redovisningschef at BAUHAUS & Co KB. Laila oversaw the accounting department for 15 retail stores, implemented SAP, and managed the salary department.

From 2012 to 2017, Laila served as the Head of Finance and Administration/Ekonomichef och Administrativ chef at BESTSELLER, where they were responsible for finance, HR, security, and administration for 140 retail fashion stores in Sweden.

In 2017, Laila joined Konica Minolta Business Solutions Sweden AB as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the company's accounting operations until 2019.

Most recently, Laila worked at Cabonline Group as the Redovisningschef from 2019 to 2022. Laila then transitioned to the role of Head of Finance Operations in February 2022.

Laila Ronkainen attended IHM Business School from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a degree in DIHM Controller. Laila also studied Audit at Norra real, although the exact dates are unknown.
