Serenella Speranza has a diverse work experience in the electronics materials industry. Serenella began their career as a Process Engineer at Dynamit Nobel Silicon in 1985. From 1987 to 1996, they held various Application Engineer roles in Europe, specializing in South Europe. Serenella then became an Application Engineering Manager for Continental Europe from 1996 to 1999, and later an Applications Engineering Manager for Europe from 1999 to 2003, both at MEMC Electronic Materials. In 2003, they became the Worldwide Applications Engineering Manager, focusing on Critical Accounts, also at MEMC Electronic Materials. In 2009, they joined MEMC Electronic Materials as the Senior Sales & Applications Engineering Manager for Strategic Accounts. Serenella then moved to Cabot Microelectronics in 2011, where they took on different roles, including Sales Manager for Europe and Israel, Product Line Manager for CMP pads, and Customer Technology Engineering Director. Currently, they are serving as the Global Sales Director for Electronic Materials at Cabot Microelectronics, a role they have held since April 2019.
Serenella Speranza completed their education from 1978 to 1984 at the Università degli Studi di Pisa, where they earned a Laurea degree in Industrial Chemistry. Before attending university, Serenella Speranza also attended Liceo Classico Mariano Buratti, but no specific years or degrees were provided for this schooling. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in Executive Management - Fostering Diversity and Inclusion from the Yale School of Management in August 2020.
