Mark J. Pender

Mark J. Pender is a seasoned materials scientist and chemist currently serving as a Senior R&D Manager at Cabot Corporation. They previously held managerial and engineering roles at Michelin Americas Research, overseeing advanced materials research and the development of innovative formulations for tire applications. Mark earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and has extensive experience from their tenure as a Materials Chemist at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where they focused on advanced materials synthesis and research funding initiatives. They also completed a postdoctoral research position at Princeton University, studying block copolymers.
