Shamith Samaranayake

Shamith Samaranayake is a Senior Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and compliance with IFRS and US GAAP. Shamith has held various roles, including Trainee Associate at KPMG Sri Lanka, and has served as Senior Executive and Coordinator at Dialog Axiata PLC, where they prepared financial statements and led audit processes. Currently, Shamith works as a Senior GL Accountant at Cabot Corporation, focusing on month-end close activities and maintaining compliance with internal and external guidelines. Shamith holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is pursuing a Master's degree in Business Finance at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte.
