Zhiwei Yang

Zhiwei Yang is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in energy and combustion research. Currently serving as a Rotational Process Engineer at Cabot Corporation, Zhiwei has participated in R&D projects involving sustainable carbon black manufacturing, next-generation battery materials, and carbon nanotube reactor modeling. Prior to this role, Zhiwei was the Co-Director of the Pilot Pressurized Combustion Lab at Washington University in St. Louis, where significant achievements included managing pilot-scale combustion facilities and co-inventing a power generation technology recognized by the Department of Energy for its potential in future coal plants. Zhiwei's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics and a B.S. in Thermal and Power Engineering from Tsinghua University.
