Ken Chapman

Ken Chapman is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in infection prevention and control. Currently serving as the Infection Prevention and Control Clinical Coordinator at Cabrini Health since January 2013, Ken oversees infection surveillance and mandatory reporting across a multi-campus health service. Previously, Ken worked as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in a sterilizing services department, where responsibilities included developing compliant workflows for reusable medical device decontamination. Ken’s earlier roles include Local Decontamination Advisor with NHS National Services Scotland and Senior Nurse in Clinical Practice with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, where Ken made significant contributions to medical device decontamination education and curriculum development. Ken holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education from the University of Glasgow and advanced degrees in Applied Science and Aquaculture from Deakin University.
