Oskari Jaakkola

Oskari Jaakkola, CFA, is the CEO and co-founder of Cactos, a position held since December 2021, and serves as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Oklahoma starting February 2024. Previously, Oskari held significant roles at Bumi Armada as Vice President of Business Development from November 2015 to April 2022, and at Deltamarin, where Oskari served as Director of Offshore Oil & Gas, Sales Director for Offshore, and in various engineering and managerial positions. Oskari's early career includes roles as a Research Assistant at Universidade Federal de Viçosa and as a Drill Operator for Suomen Malmi Oy / Drillcon AB. Oskari's military experience includes serving as a Signals Officer in the Finnish Rapid Deployment Force. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Marine & Offshore Engineering and the other in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, obtained from Aalto University and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
