Veli-Erkki Ruotsalainen

Veli-Erkki Ruotsalainen is an experienced professional in the field of manufacturing and operational leadership, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Cactos since December 2021, where efforts focus on smart energy storage and renewable energy utilization. Additionally, Veli-Erkki co-founded Kravee Oy in May 2020, acting as CEO. Prior experience includes a decade at Patria from 2010 to 2020, progressing through roles including Production Director and Project Manager, with key responsibilities in production development, investment planning, and technology implementation for the aviation and defense sectors. Veli-Erkki holds a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Oulu, complemented by a brief educational experience at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
