Ville Immonen

Ville Immonen is an experienced software engineer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in software development and company ownership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Cactos since October 2023, Ville has also held significant roles including Owner of Functo Oy since April 2014, and Founding Engineer positions at Shape and CollabKit from April 2023 to September 2023 and October 2021 to April 2023, respectively. Ville co-founded Reindex, a pioneering GraphQL-based backend service platform, and has contributed to notable projects such as Expo, where development of the Expo CLI tool was led. Previous experience includes software engineering at Listora and HDmessaging, and a foundational role at Innofactor Plc. Ville's early career began with summer internships at Betset Ltd, alongside web development projects utilizing PHP and MySQL. Education was completed at Aalto University from 2008 to 2012 and Karstulan lukio from 2004 to 2007.
