Zoe Poulsen

Zoe Poulsen PhD is a seasoned professional in the fields of communications and conservation. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator at FynbosLIFE and as an Academic Editor at Cactus Communications since November 2021, Zoe also contributes as a Freelance Content Writer for the Overberg Renosterveld Conservation Trust, focusing on ecological awareness in South Africa. Prior experience includes a role as a Social Media Consultant for the Botanical Society of South Africa, where specialist content was created to promote indigenous flora conservation. Earlier work includes serving as a Research Assistant for Botanic Gardens Conservation International, supporting projects related to food, medicine, and tree species conservation. Zoe holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Botany/Plant Biology and has advanced degrees in Botany and Geography from the University of Cape Town and Royal Holloway, University of London, respectively.
