Ben Holland

Ben Holland's work experience begins in 2005 at the Oklahoma State University Willard Sparks Beef Research Center, where they worked as a Research Coordinator until 2009. Ben then joined South Dakota State University as an Assistant Professor/Extension Beef Feedlot Specialist from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to Merck Animal Health as a Technical Services Manager, a position they held until 2015. From 2015 onwards, Ben Holland has been employed at Cactus Feeders, first as a Research/Operations Analyst from April to December 2015, and then as the Director of Research and Operations Analysis from 2016 onwards.

Ben Holland has a diverse education history. Ben completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Sciences at Texas Tech University from 2000 to 2004. Ben then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Animal Sciences at Oklahoma State University from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Animal Nutrition from Oklahoma State University, completing their studies from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ben obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from West Texas A&M University in 2019. Ben holds the distinction of being certified in Beef Feedlot Animal Welfare Auditing and Meat Plant Animal Welfare Auditing by the Professional Animal Auditor Certification Organization Inc.
