Wambayi Wabwire

Wambayi Wabwire serves as the Land Administration Advisor and Regional Manager for Africa at Cadasta Foundation since October 2019, overseeing programs that support land rights documentation and management systems in Africa. Wambayi has extensive experience in land governance, having held roles such as Independent Land Governance Consultant with Land Tenure and Land Policy since January 2019 and Land Management Specialist for UN-Habitat from September 2019 to June 2020. Previous positions include Land Technical Specialist at FAO and Associate Consultant at Oxfam GB. Wambayi has contributed significantly to initiatives such as the Shuleyangu Campaign and has a strong academic background with a Master's degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor's degree in Land Administration from The Technical University of Kenya.
