Marcelo Vieira

Marcelo Vieira, MBA, currently serves as AVP Investment Analyst at Cadence Bank since April 2024. With a rich background in leadership roles, Marcelo has been part of the African Business Institute since January 2016, holding positions such as Advisory Board Chairman, President/Executive Director, Vice President of Finance and Operations, and Programs Director. Additionally, Marcelo has contributed as a Strategic Consultant for African Bible Colleges since August 2016 and worked as a Credit Analyst at PriorityOne Bank from September 2022 to April 2024. As the founder of Avodah Import/Export from January 2020 to February 2022, Marcelo also has experience as a Teacher/Musician with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra and an International Trade Assistant at the Mississippi Development Authority. Marcelo's early career includes roles as a Musician and Producer from 2000 to 2014, as well as marketing and writing positions at Louisiana State University. Marcelo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Millsaps College and a Master of Music from Louisiana State University, alongside a Bachelor of Music from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
