Sarine Babikian

Sarine Babikian, PhD has a diverse work experience. Sarine began their career in 2007 as an IT Assistant at the American University of Beirut. In 2008, they took on a Research Intern role at the University of Southern California. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Mechanical Engineer at Pierre Dammous & Partners. During their time at the University of Southern California from 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2017, they became a Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science. From 2018 to 2021, they held the roles of Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Glooko. Currently, they are a Data Product Manager at Cadence.

Sarine Babikian, PhD, began their educational journey at The Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, where they studied Piano from 1995 to 2006. Sarine then attended American University of Beirut, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from 2005 to 2009. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2012 to 2017.
