Alon Hemo

Alon Hemo is a highly experienced technology leader with a strong background in research and development, particularly in the semiconductor and software industries. Currently serving as Senior Group Director at Cadence Design Systems since June 2019, Alon spearheads the global R&D organization responsible for advanced enterprise software products, including the AI-Driven Verification Platform, Verisium™. Prior to this role, Alon spent 18 years at Intel Corporation, progressing through various leadership positions, including Senior Director of Product Development Solutions, where oversight included a central R&D team of over 300 engineers across multiple countries. Alon's early career included significant contributions in the Israeli Navy as a Naval Officer and formal education comprising an MBA and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
