Marco Zavaroni

Marco Zavaroni has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and design engineering industry. Currently serving as Sr Group Director Design Engineering at Cadence Design Systems since January 1998, Marco oversees R&D development for Protocol and Interface solutions specifically for the Palladium and Protium emulation platforms. Previous positions at Cadence include Group Director and Director of Design Engineering, where responsibilities included managing global teams and developing protocol solutions for FPGA products. Earlier in their career, Marco worked at Motorola Semiconductor as a Design Engineer, focusing on Motorola microcontrollers, and at Philips Semiconductors as an ASIC Design Engineer for video applications. Marco holds a B. Eng with First Class Honors in Electronic Systems & Microprocessor Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
