Karen Andrews

Karen Andrews has a diverse and extensive work experience in various legal and leadership roles. Karen is currently the Head of Business Affairs at Cadence13 since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at their own law firm, Karen Andrews Law, LLC, where they served as the founder and partner from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were the EVP, General Counsel, and Chief of Staff at March of Dimes from 2015 to 2018. Karen Andrews also held the position of SVP Legal and Business Affairs at Hachette Book Group Publishing from 2007 to 2014. Karen had previous experience as EVP and General Counsel at Reader's Digest Association and as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at BBDO Worldwide. Karen Andrews began their career as an Associate General Counsel and Director of Television Business Affairs at Time Inc. Karen co-founded and served as a board member of The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and worked as an associate at Weil Gotshal and Manges.

Karen Andrews completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Vermont from 1976 to 1980. After that, they pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) from the Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law from 1982 to 1985.
