Ken Cain

Ken Cain is a retired former Manager with extensive experience in the gas distribution industry. Cain's career began as an Apprentice at British Gas North Western from August 1981 to June 1984, advancing to roles such as Operations Network Manager at Cadent Gas Ltd from August 1981 until retirement in August 2019, where responsibilities included the safe delivery of repair activities in the North West Area. Additionally, Cain held the position of Operations Network Manager at National Grid from March 2007 to March 2010, focusing on the safe delivery of emergency and meterwork activities in the West Midlands, and was involved in the reinstatement process and implementation of NRWSA programs in the North West Area. Educational qualifications include HNC in Civil Engineering from Bolton Institute of Higher Education and a NEBOSH Safety certification from Wigan & Leigh College.
