Reem Berro

Reem Berro, PhD, CMPP, serves as the Senior Vice President and Medical Director at Cadent Medical Communications since January 2018, having previously held the roles of Vice President and Medical Director. Prior experience includes positions at inVentiv Medical Communications as a Senior Scientific Associate and at Celmatix as the Manager of Applied Genomics and Research Scientist. Reem worked as a Medical Writer at BGB Group and held an instructor position at Weill Cornell Medical College, where contributions included a multi-institutional team effort on HIV-1 vaccine development and clinical research on Maraviroc. As a Postdoctoral Associate, Reem received the Mathilde Krim Fellowship and made significant advancements in understanding HIV-1 resistance mechanisms. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from The George Washington University, alongside prior degrees in Biology from the American University of Beirut. Reem has published over 20 manuscripts and has extensive experience in laboratory training, protocol development, and collaborative clinical research.
