Allyn Lynd

Allyn Lynd has more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement and cybersecurity. Allyn started as a Captain in the US Army and later served as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Later, they became the Laboratory Director of the North Texas Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory. After retiring from the FBI, they worked as Senior Director of Digital Forensics and Response at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Allyn also worked as a Senior DFIR Advisor/Manager at Critical Start and as a Partner, Managing Principal Blue Team, and Managing Principal Core Labs at Lodestone. Recently, they worked as Senior Cyber Forensics Manager at Experian and now leads operations and productivity as Senior Vice President at Cadien Cyber Response.

Allyn Lynd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1985 and 1989. In addition, they obtained several certifications in information technology and security, including CompTIA A+, CompTIA NET+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CDIA+, and CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP). Allyn also received certifications from GIAC Certifications in Security Essentials, Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Information Security Professional (GISP), Advanced Smartphone Forensics, and Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE). The certifications were obtained between 2010 and 2019.
