Dr. Madhusudhan Bommagani

Dr. Madhusudhan Bommagani has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in research and development (R&D) roles. Dr. Madhusudhan currently holds the position of President R&D at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President FR&D and Head of India Formulations & US Topical Products at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals from January 2022 to August 2022. Dr. Madhusudhan also held the role of Vice President FR&D at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals from November 2016 to January 2022. Before joining Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Bommagani worked at SUN PHARMA where they held various positions, including Sr. General Manager FR&D and General Manager FR&D, both in charge of Derma & Ophthalmic operations. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as the Deputy General Manager, FR&D (Head Derma & Ophthalmics) at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Prior to that, they held research and development positions at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where they started as a Manager FR&D and subsequently advanced to the positions of Senior Manager FR&D and Associate Director FR&D. Dr. Bommagani began their career at Natco Research Centre, Natco Pharma Ltd. as an Assistant Manager FR&D focused on NDDS Complex Injectables.

Dr. Madhusudhan Bommagani completed their Ph.D in Pharmaceutics from the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University, Warangal. Dr. Madhusudhan pursued their doctoral studies from 2001 to 2005.
