Frank Gärtner

Frank G. is an experienced professional in the field of gas turbine development, currently serving as a Combustor Validation Specialist, Resource Manager, and Project Manager at Ansaldo Energia Switzerland since February 2016, focusing on R&D combustor development. Prior to this role, Frank G. worked at Alstom Power from February 2007 to February 2016, where responsibilities included Project Manager for combustor development, Workpackage Coordinator, and Project Lead for combustor validation, along with work in flue gas recirculation technology development and cooling/heat transfer simulations. Frank G. holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution, complemented by studies at UC Santa Barbara and ETH Zürich.
