Kevin Backoefer

Kevin Backoefer is an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong background in operations and process engineering. Currently serving as the General Manager at Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions since September 2019, Kevin previously held roles including Plant Operations Manager and Production Manager, where significant achievements included reducing direct labor costs and improving operational efficiencies. Prior experience includes positions at ARC Group Worldwide, Inc. as Process Engineering Supervisor and Lead, overseeing teams in both plastics and metal injection molding. Additional roles at Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. and internships at ORBIS Corporation, NZK Plastics, and Pitt Tool & Die provided comprehensive exposure to various aspects of manufacturing processes. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering Technology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
