Nathaniel DeNicola, MD, MSHP has a diverse work history in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Nathaniel began their career as an Assistant Medical Director at Caduceus Medical Group in 2006 and later became an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System in 2011. Nathaniel then joined The George Washington University as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2016 and remained there until 2020. Dr. DeNicola also served as a Laborist at Johns Hopkins Medicine starting in 2020. In 2016, they became the Chair of Telehealth at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). More recently, in 2023, they took on the roles of Chief Medical Officer at Caduceus Medical Group and Co-Host of the Green Docs Podcast.

Nathaniel DeNicola, MD, MSHP began their education at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, where they obtained their high school diploma in the year 1998. Nathaniel later attended the University of Notre Dame from 1998 to 2002, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Science Pre-Professional. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

Dr. DeNicola then pursued a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University from 2007 to 2011. After completing their residency, they furthered their education at the University of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they joined the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program and earned a Master of Science in Health Policy Research.

In addition to their extensive education, Dr. DeNicola has obtained several certifications. Nathaniel received their certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in January 2015 and became a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist. Nathaniel also acquired a Medical Doctor Institutional License from the DC Department of Health in June 2016.
